Oakhill Music Rooms

The music rooms were constructed on top of an existing garage building. The buildings foundations were found to be suspect, so a lightweight timber structure clad in Aluzinc was used to minimise the load on the foundations. The original brief was to use shipping containers but after investigation these were found to be unsuitable due to their size limitations, waterproofing, sound attenuation and long-term rust issues.
