Oakhill Learning Commons

This was a very complex build as the underlaying soil conditions were poor, necessitating large complex foundations, sholin retaining walls and storm water attenuation. The building was designed to have a flexible interior space that can be adapted for future needs. The structure is therefore carried on the exterior walls and internal columns with all the internal walls constructed as dry walls that can be moved or removed as needed. Sound insulation was paramount.
