New Houses
Pezula Cliffs
Located on the exposed Pezula sea cliffs overlooking the ocean in Knysna, this large plantation-style house, built in the early 2000s, features extensive Zim Teak elements. Following a recent refurbishment, where some teak doors were replaced with aluminium, most of the original timber and slate roof were found to be in good condition. This longevity underscores the value of selecting quality construction materials for reduced long-term costs. Ian was involved in the initial construction and managed the entire refurbishment project.
The house incorporates many modern technological features such as water born under floor heating, home management systems that control lighting and sound, biolytic waste management systems and motorised pool covers.
